Chelsea have reportedly been offered Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window (via The Mirror).
After a couple of wonderful seasons with Borussia Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has seemingly been linked with every major club in Europe in the last few years.
The Gabon international has scored an incredible 42 goals in his last 44 Bundesliga matches but is still being heavily linked with a move away from the German side.
The 28-year-old’s relationship with Dortmund has reportedly broken down completely and now, reports suggest that he has been offered to Chelsea.
Antonio Conte is keen to add another centre-forward to his squad to either support or challenge Alvaro Morata to the starting spot.
It’s unclear how much Aubameyang would cost but you’d expect that it would be at least £50 million considering the player’s goalscoring record.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past and would represent a wonderful signing for the club. He’s clearly a hugely talented goalscorer and every club in Europe would be improved by him.
