Chelsea could reportedly sell as many as nine first-team players in the summer as the Blues prepare a major overhaul (via The Telegraph).
It’s going to be a huge summer for Chelsea, whether Antonio Conte leaves the club or not.
The Blues have a slim squad in desperate need of an upgrade in some positions but it seems that things could get worse if this report is to be believed.
The Telegraph is reporting that as many as nine first-team players are set for an exit from Stamford Bridge including some influential players.
Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard are the biggest names on the list with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly keen.
Also featuring on the list are Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas and David Luiz are on the list, as are Olivier Giroud and Pedro Rodriguez.
On-loan stars like Michy Batshuayi and Kurt Zouma are also named as potential outgoings.
It’s going to be a season of incredible change at Stamford Bridge if even a third of these targets leave the club. Let’s hope the likes of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois remain but many of the other players on the list have long since past their best.
