Chelsea captain John Terry scored an early goal to seal a vital three points, in a scrappy away win at Sunderland today.

In what was never going to be an easy match, given the strong home form of Roy Keanes men, Chelsea weathered the physical approach and managed to see through the result that was needed, despite many Blues players still seemingly out of sorts.

We’re still in with a shout for the title and still have a major part to play in destination of the Premiership this season, as the two teams ahead of us are yet to visit the Bridge.

So long as we keep on winning, pretty or ugly, we’ll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Subs: Hilario, Carvalho, Essien, SWP, Shevchenko
