The players were back in for pre-season training again today, with yet more double sessions. I’m sure that their holidays now seem a thing of the distant past as the running and ball work gets more involved. While the players did their work, Carlo Ancelotti explained that the team need in the region of five weeks preparation before the start of the season. He also said that some players, who have been involved with The World Cup, will probably start their pre-season around the date of the 22nd and 26th of July. It’s also that time that TV dates have been released. Our first match against West Bromwich Albion is still on August 14, but we now have a 5.30pm kick off, due to the game being shown live on ESPN. The following week, August 21, we play away to Wigan. Again we have been chosen for a late kick off, this time at 5.15pm and this game will be shown by SKY. In all, there are NINE changes to kick off times before December for TV. To view all of the Re-Scheduled Kick-Off Times click on the link.
