Good evening fellow blues and welcome to Friday night’s edition of CFCnet’s transfer news update, where we take a look at the latest possible arrivals and departures at Stamford Bridge this coming summer transfer window that opens on July the 1st.

First up, their have been further claims today that Blues owner Roman Abramovich has given the all clear to allow goalkeeper Petr Cech to join any side he likes even if it is a premier league club, but only for £10 million at the least. Yesterday Cech said he is yet to decide on his future and will not be making any decisions until a week or so after his international Euro qualifier.
The latest on Radamel Falcao is pretty much the same as last night, but the player himself wants the deal to be completed and announced BEFORE June the 16th when the Copa America begins. I’m pretty certain that it will be confirmed before then.
Douglas Costa appears to be back in the fray. The Brazilian starlet has previously confirmed his desire to join Chelsea and it was thought that a deal was imminent. But the Blues appeared to turn their attentions to Atletico attacker Antoine Griezmann. The latter has since confirmed that he will not be leaving his La Liga club just yet though and Chelsea have said likewise.
So this would open up the door for shortlisted Costa, who has been on the radar for sometime. Various reports from the English press are even suggesting that a £20 million fee has been agreed with his club Shakhtar Donetsk. The 24-year old winger is an exciting prospect and certainly plays Jose Mourinho’s style of football as he looks to bring in extra attacking options down the flanks.
Finally, the speculation over Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will carry on and his agent has fueled the fire even more by suggesting that the Champions League final against Barcelona on Saturday evening may well be his last in a Juventus shirt. It is yet to be known as to whether Abramovich is willing to stump up the large fee required to land the French international but we are certainly monitoring proceedings here.
That’s it for now Blues, but make sure to follow my Twitter here for the very latest Chelsea news @cfcneteditor
