Good evening Blues and welcome to Saturday nights transfer news update from CFCnet, as we take a look at the potential arrivals, departures and done deals at Stamford Bridge ahead of their second pre-season game tonight versus Paris Saint Germain.

Well, even after Jose Mourinho stated he is happy with his squad, there are still various rumours floating around and to be honest, I’m inclined to disbelieve that this is the end of the buying.

A player who had been quoted as being a ‘done deal’ by many reputable sources only a week ago is back in the frame. Italian website Tutto Mercato, who can be reliable, have suggested that Chelsea are ‘interested’ in signing Charles Aranguiz from Internacional.

Now had this not gathered up so much place last week, I’d have written off the Chilean International star as being just a rumour, but this one would not surprise me if he did join. His versatility would prove to be an excellent squad addition should anything happen here.

Another European website, this time in the shape of French Foot Mercato, are claiming that Chelsea are in the chase to sign Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

This is another player who was talked about with Chelsea previously at the start of the transfer window and the player himself even claimed that Mourinho was looking at signing him. So with that in mind, I cannot rule this one out as just a rumour either and it certainly does have some substance behind it. Even though John Obi Mikel has confirmed that he is staying, so I would be surprised if a central midfielder did arrive.

Maybe Chelsea are still looking at options? Or maybe the ‘Mercato’ websites just didn’t get the memo that we’re not buying anybody else?

Finally, the deal for Filipe Luis moving back to Atletico Madrid has apparently been held up due to the fee not being able to be agreed by both parties, Chelsea want more and Madrid want less, naturally.

And Mohammed Salah seems to be edging closer to his move to Roma by the day.

That’s it for now Blues, but remember to follow my Twitter here for the very latest Chelsea news @cfcneteditor
