Footage released from training showed Cesc Fabregas beat youngster Charly Musonda six consecutive times in sprint races.

He’s got a reputation for being one of the slowest players in the Premier League but maybe things aren’t quite as they seem.

Cesc Fabregas has a lot of strengths to his game. He’s technically brilliant, can see a pass from a mile away and has enough experience to know when to play it.

However, the Spaniard was always seen as a limited player. During his time at Arsenal he was criticised for his speed moving across the pitch.

He resembled an iceberg at times at the Emirates but new footage from Chelsea’s training suggests that he hasn’t skipped leg day.

The Spaniard was shown facing off against youngster Charly Musonda in a series of speed drills.

You’d expect the speedy winger to breeze past Fabregas but the midfielder triumphs again and again, much to Musonda’s annoyance.
