Chelsea winger, Willian has said that he ‘dreams of’ playing for clubs like FC Barcelona after rumours linking the 29-year-old with a move to the Camp Nou (via The Express).
He may be one of the longest-serving players at Stamford Bridge but that could soon end with reports linking Willian with a move away.
The 29-year-old is a reported target for FC Barcelona as the Spanish side look to strengthen their squad.
The rumours are given weight by an interview which the Brazilian gave back in his homeland where he seemingly said he was interested in a move to Spain.
“I think they are the two biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona More visibility,” Willian told the Brazilian YouTube channel Resenha Delas.
“It’s everyone’s dream to play for these clubs. Of course there are other great ones, like the one I play for, Chelsea, and PSG, other greats.
“But these two are different. These are two that everyone has the dream to play for.”
Thos are some interesting quotes from Willian and they come at a convenient time to coincide with the reports linking him with a move to Spain. If Chelsea are to sell the player for a decent price and a suitable replacement is brought in then few Blues fans will complain.
