Chelsea’s supposed pursuit of Juventus full-back, Alex Sandro has taken a hit thanks to the massive transfer fee the Italian club wants (via The Daily Mail).
After securing a deal for Everton’s Ross Barkley, it seems that Antonio Conte has set his sights on other targets.
The Italian has gone back to Serie A for three players in the last 18 months and it seems that he wants to make it four.
Juventus full-back, Alex Sandro is rated by many as one of the best players in the world in his position.
Conte is clearly a fan and the Blues have reportedly been tracking the 26-year-old for some time but their hopes of a transfer have taken a hit.
Reports suggest that Juventus want as much as £60 million for the Brazilian who has made 95 appearances for the club since joining from Porto in 2015.
It’s unclear whether Chelsea would consider doing business at that price but he is a quality player. £60 million is a ridiculous sum of money for a full-back but in the current market, it seems about right.
